A plain backyard does not have to stay that way. A lot of homeowners we work with have a great house but the outdoor space just feels unfinished - no definition, no structure, nothing to look at. That gap between the home and the yard is exactly what we focus on closing.

Here, we built out a substantial river rock bed along the back of the house and around the deck. The curved edge gives it a natural, intentional look rather than something rigid and builder-basic. We planted a mix of upright evergreens and rounded shrubs throughout the bed - the variety in shape and texture keeps things interesting without being busy. A young tree anchors the center of the bed and will only get better with time.

Along the fence line, we installed a row of fast-growing privacy trees spaced and planted with care. Each one was set with fresh mulch rings to hold moisture and give the roots the best start possible. Right now they are young - but that is the whole point. Plant them now, let them establish, and within a few seasons you have a natural screen that no fence can replicate.

This is what full service landscaping actually looks like in practice. It is not just picking plants and dropping them in the ground. It is thinking through scale, spacing, function, and how the whole thing looks together. Rock beds cut down on ongoing maintenance. Privacy plantings add value and seclusion. Thoughtful shrub placement frames the home and the deck in a way that just feels right.

Your outdoor space should feel as good as your indoor space. A well-planned landscape does that - it adds calm, character, and something you actually enjoy looking at every day.
