Mowing Season Start Pushed Back in the Poconos

Well, winter had one more thing to say. We were geared up and ready to kick off mowing season, but cold temperatures across the Poconos had other plans for us. Rather than rush it and risk poor results, we made the call to push our start date back.

Our updated mowing season start date is Wednesday, April 22, 2026. We know that is not ideal news if you have been watching the grass wake up, but doing it right matters more than doing it fast. Cold, stressed turf does not respond well to being cut, and we are not interested in cutting corners.

This kind of patience is just part of how we operate. We pay attention to conditions - temperature, ground hardness, turf health - because those things directly affect the quality of the work we do. It is the same mindset we bring to our snow removal and ice management work all winter long. Conditions drive decisions.

Warmer days are coming, and we are ready to hit the ground running the moment conditions are right. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting your lawn season started strong.
